«Grant (and James) were amazing! Working to an exceptionally high level from the very first communication with us and stepping though the door. No nonsense, Honest, Trustworthy and exemplary work. Not only did he fix up the room providing us with ideas and modernising but he also provided us with valuable knowledge for future projects. He knows we'll be calling him back. 5-star rating is honestly too low. THANKS Grant :D»

«I had used the Need Help service because I found it difficult to get workmen to do my job. Not only am I busy, and haven’t really invested time into sourcing help, but also, most builders that help my family with works won’t travel to where I live. So this service is very convenient. It adds another sense of security that it’s affiliated with B&Q, and the works are insured to be completed.
Grant and James turned up promptly, even despite the pouring rain. They worked on drilling the steel brackets into the ground, and they even had to buy an additional drill-bit to penetrate the ground. They are very friendly, hard workers, and gave me ideas on how to complete the ongoing work that I intend to do.
Slight lack of attention to detail because they missed the mark on drilling two of the steel brackets from where I showed them it needed to be, and where I left the slotted piece of wood that it needed to fit. I was in meetings so unable to oversee the work; especially if they needed to ask me anything.
This means I’m left with an added problem of either finding another pieces of wood 4inches, in width, wider than the one I have in order to fill the gap, or getting the brackets moved to where they should have been, as it’s not an option to move the fence (of which has already been started).
Unfortunately, one of the other fence brackets, that they fitted, is the wrong way. This means it needs to be taken off and fitted the right way so I can easily utilise the slots in the side of the aluminium post. To be fair, I don’t think they would have known that if I didn’t point it out beforehand.
Objectively, I would definitely give them another go, and I do think I would recommend them, but I would be more careful on communicating any instructions. Especially those that matter to the job in hand.
